These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of BerberEnglish's website, located at www.berberenglish.com.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page, please do not continue to use www.berberenglish.com.

1. Definitions

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement, and Disclaimer Notice, as well as all Agreements: "Client," "You," and "Your" refer to you, the person who logs onto this website and complies with the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company," "Ourselves," "We," "Our," and "Us" refer to our Company. "Party," "Parties," or "Us" refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of assisting the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services. This is done in accordance with and subject to the prevailing laws of the Netherlands. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization, and/or he/she or they are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.

2. Courses

By signing up for an account to any program/course, you accept and agree to the following terms:

​

General

​

a. Private lessons and/or personal feedback are included within the programme or course subscription.

​

b. You will need the internet to access the course. A good internet connection is recommended to stream videos and audio effectively.

​

c. The lessons/courses are in English and teach British English.

​

d. The lessons/courses are for both native and non-native speakers of English.

​

e. The lessons/courses may be tailored to your native language if desired.

​

Payments
 

f. You shall pay for any programme or lesson/course in accordance with the procedures and prices outlined at www.berberenglish.com.

​

g. Your package must be paid according to the billing cycle you selected when signing up until you request to cancel.

​

h. It is your responsibility to ensure your email address is up to date.

​

i. You can update your email address at any time in "My Account".

​

3. Lessons and Courses
 

By paying for and taking a lesson or package, you accept the following:
 

a. If you reschedule or cancel a private lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice, then you will be charged for the lesson.
 

b. If you fail to attend a group lesson, it will be counted and you will be charged for the lesson.
 

c. Payment must be made 48 hours in advance to confirm a lesson.
 

d. Lessons are 40 minutes, 1 hour, or 80 minutes long (unless otherwise arranged). If you are late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time, and lesson time will not be made up.
 

e. Packages and lessons are non-refundable.
 

f. There will be no refund for connection problems that disrupt or delay lessons conducted via the internet (e.g., via Skype, Zoom, VooV, Demio, Hangouts, or another platform). Please note that there are more conditions regarding lessons in the Refund Policy. It is your responsibility to read through the website.
 

g. When purchasing a package of lessons, you are required to complete at least one lesson per week; failure to do so will result in charges regardless of attendance.
 

h. The weekly timetable is prepared every Sunday for the following week.

4. Cookies
 

We employ the use of cookies. You agreed to use cookies in accordance with the site's privacy policy by accessing www.berberenglish.com.

  • Republish material from BerberEnglish

  • Sell, rent, or sub-license material from BerberEnglish.

  • Reproduce, duplicate, or copy material from BerberEnglish.

  • Redistribute content from BerberEnglish.
     

This agreement shall begin on the date hereof.
 

Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. BERBERENGLISH does not filter, edit, publish, or review comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of BERBERENGLISH, its agents, and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts their views and opinions.
